Fred Santoku Knife
Everyone loves a santoku style blade and when designing the TCKC version, I wanted to add a little western to the classic Japanese kitchen staple; east meets west, if you will. And when it came time to name the design, there was only one choice: Fred. For the few who don’t know, Dr. Fred Kam is (among many things) a physician, a host among hosts, a food and beverage aficionado—and most important to me—a great and trusted friend. He also happens to be of Chinese descent but grew up in Trinidad and lived for years in Miami before settling in Auburn—east meets west.
